i take back what i originally said before about freya and viria. they're a secret third thing: chaotic lawful and lawful chaotic
#viriaatlas #freyayillesen
introducing a new alignment - chaotic lawful. i have a strict moral code but nobody can figure out what the hell it is. not to be confused with lawful chaotic, which is creating as much chaos as possible by following the letter of the law, usually to ridiculous extremes.

Porcelain Skin
#freyayillesen
Freya smiling when she was alive as the original Warrior of Light. There are cracks on her skin chipping and eroding to reveal the true Freya beneath the facade. She is the true version - one who has learned the truth after her death.

#viriaatlas #freyayillesen
My WOL's Echo Chart Name: Viria Atlas Class/Job: Aetherweaver (SMN-GNB-SGE) Echo Name/Variant Title: Shis Khur (Dragonspeaak for Curse of the Truth) Echo Sensitivity/Variant Info: Seen as a blessing to humankind; blighted as a curse on dragonkind - High Sensitivity: A migraine but worse Blackouts/Fainting - Lapses in memory may occur if severe - Future Sight: Vague visions of potential outcomes of certain situations that may be prevented - Heightened Aethersense: Ability to detect even the faintest presence of aether in the atmosphere - Free Will: Unable to be tempered/influenced by outside forces Belief Systems: Hydaelyn: Devoted to her, but has lingering doubts about her own origin, past, and rebirth. This remains unanswered. The Twelve: Blessed by both Nymeia and Azeyma, she is regarded as their beloved child. She grants their final wish to return to the Lifestream. The Kami: Personally doesn't believe in them, but is willing to learn of the origin and history. The Mansuya: Personally doesn't believe in them, but is willing to learn of the origin and history. Other: Unless it's the First Brood or the Warring Triad, she does not follow/believe in them. My WOL's Echo Chart Name: Freya Yillesen (Vanadis) Class/Job: Gremory (All-Rounder) Echo Name/Variant Title: Eir's Embrace (Old Norse for Mercy) Echo Sensitivity/Variant Info: The first iteration of the "perfect" Echo blessed by Hydaelyn - High Sensitivity: Attunement with the Mothercrystal. 100% in sync with Hydaelyn's heart. Can be used as a vessel. - Divine Regeneration: Able to fully recover from fatal injuries by distorting time and space at a moment's notice. - Armiger Arsenal: Complete mastery of all classes/jobs. Ability to freely swap between weapons by manipulating aether. - Urth's Fount: Can commune with the departed and purify souls to return to the Lifestream after their death. Opinions about the Blessing of Light: Helps Them* - There's a huge caveat to this, but I won't explain :) Couldn't Care Less - It's more like she doesn't question it. Belief Systems: Hydaelyn: Became the perfect daughter she created and molded with her very being. Does everything in her name. Lawful good btw. The Twelve: Since Hydaelyn created them, she believes in them and is blessed by them, but they will never be on the same level as her mother. The Kami: That's not her mother. The Mansuya: That's not her mother. Other: That's not her mother.

when freya died in the calamity, all traces of her disappeared, including any memory of her ever existing. the only exceptions to this is urianger and nael, who is killed before she can tell viria.
the crystal exarch learns about freya in passing. it's to be kept a secret from her.

for anyone who wants to know what freya is like 😇
#freyayillesen
freya on the outside is like coming back to your childhood home but once you go inside, it's empty and decrepit. the warmth you remember is long gone and you feel like you shouldn't be there

freya and viria have a crystal gem (named polaris) on their forehead. when freya was created, hydaelyn imbued her divine blessing unto her through the catalyst. it allows her to be completely in tune with the mothercrystal, granting her the ability to channel her power. (1/2)

growing up, viria (as freya) moved frequently with her parents as they were traveling mercenaries. eventually, her family settled down in old sharlayan because her mother, nadja, found an opportunity to teach at the studium while her father, z'ival, became an artisan blacksmith.

💎 Freya - Luminare Form - Reference Sheet 💎
#freyayillesen
See the link below for high quality / full resolution. Text: - the original warrior of light of etheirys - known as hydaelyn's beloved child, freya was cherished with an blessed upbringing until she perished during the seventh umbral calamity from reasons unknown to the masses. after her passing, freya is left in constant purgatory drifting through the lifestream, ever so hopeful for a moment to return in all her glory. but alas, as time passes by - without even a mention to her name - a new hero carries on her stolen legacy. she grows ever so spiteful; her deep-rooted inferiority complex gnaws at her very core. why has hydaelyn forsaken her? why was she left to rot? when will it be her turn? after consuming the mothercrystal, freya was able to ascend with a new form - one where she would reunite with her creator. with the power of the luminare, she is one step closer to perfect godhood.

the lily viria wears was a memento given to freya before the calamity. during an annual ceremony of the deadly attack in ul'dah, freya saw thancred on his way to the site and offered her a rare blue nymeia lily as a blessing for safe travels. that was the last time she was seen alive.
