The 1955 recipe by the whitest of white ladies (Campbell’s food scientists w/PhD’s in HomeEc) is fresh GreenBeans sautéed in BaconGrease or GarlicButter, CreamOfMushroom w/Milk, SoySauce, FriedOnions, BlackPepper….we added SharpCheddar & WaterChestnuts a bit later!

The first time I added dried mushrooms and douchi to the rice, which was nice, but now I wanted to do it without add-ons, to see how it tasted au naturel.
