A sapling grows between two trees in Oversley Wood, Alcester.
The symmetry of the scene is remarkable.

This was taken on a walk through Oversley Wood near to Alcester. The centre of the ancient wood is a delight to wander through. This scene isof several mature trees with a sapling venturing forth between them. I likened it to a tree family. The symmetry is remarkable and it could almost be a mirror image.

Fungi in the New Forest

It was hard to find fungi yesterday morning. Perhaps they are waiting for the rain. I did spot a few.
