This is a long exposure photograph of a waterfall streaming down from a very high cliff that is surrounded by a forest of bright yellow leaves. There is a tremendous boulder set at the bottom of the waterfall.

One day this summer I did some experimenting. I thought I'd see what effect the little Fuji's in camera B&W mode, and its 'filter effects' options had... and now I've got round to looking!
No editing has been done (other than resizing).

A section of the railway that circles Stone Mountain in Georgia. I love this shot so much because of the perspective. I am always trying to catch things from different point of view.

This photo is of an empty section of railway that curves through a late autumn forest landscape. There is a blanket of orange leaves cover the railway as well as the forest floor while the bare and sleeping trees watch as silent sentinels on either side of the railway. The photo was taken from a low perspective, giving the railway a sense of it stretching into the distance.

The photo is one I captured of Minnehaha Falls in the North Georgia Mountains using a long exposure setting creating the very romantic silky water effect on the cascades. The waterfall is surrounded by hardwood and pine forests that include mountain laurel that blooms in the summer. Minnehaha is a secluded 60 foot cascading water fall that creates a tumbling stream into a lake below.

This photo is of the historic Watson Mill covered bridge in Comer, Ga. The bridge is comprised of stone pillars to support the span across a river, outer walls of aged wood with varying shades of weathering, and dark shingles on the roof of the bridge. There is a window cut into the side of the bridge that gives a glimpse of the cedar cross beams that are part of the wooden framework that is only seen while driving or walking through the enclosure. Watson Mill bridge spans a calm, mirror-like river that has been dammed. The dam is created with old stacked stone that is dark in color due to the water and age of the dam. There is water spilling over parts of the dam that create waterfalls down to the exposed river shoals below the dam. The shoals stretch towards the foreground of the photo. These shoals provide pools of water that, in the summer, families go to swim and play in the water. The shoals also create natural water slides at times.
