A typically ambiguous Fumitory from a Devon hedge today. This looks like White Ramping-fumitory Fumaria capreolata, but could be a weird Common Ramping-fumitory Fumaria muralis. @bsbibotany.bsky.social

Common Ramping-fumitory Fumaria muralis found today in Braishfield, Hampshire. A tricksy group indeed: a few flowers with notably oblong sepals reminiscent of Purple Ramping-fumitory F. purpurea. @bsbibotany.bsky.social

White Ramping Fumitory, Fumaria capreolata, was a new species for me today, thanks to @ians4ad.bsky.social.

Earlham Cemetery, Norwich.

Native in SE Suffolk and a scarce casual elsewhere, occasionally introduced with soil or gravel.

My #FavouritePlant is very often a Fumitory. Here's the beautiful White Ramping-fumitory Fumaria capreolata which was surprisingly common on the streets of Felixstowe, Suffolk in late May. #wildflowerhour @bsbibotany.bsky.social

An extremely attractive form of White Ramping-fumitory seen at Lydd last weekend. This seems to fit Fumaria capreolata subsp. capriolata forma speciosa. The corolla turns bright crimson after fertilisation - known from the Channel Islands and Mediterranean.
