6-MOZART 250TH: HAFFNER SERENADE K249+K250
A MANNERIST READING
Music symbolism, used by #Mozart in #HaffnerSerenade is rather curious: K249 March seems a mockery of #FuneralMarch ending in #Breathlessness (affanno); K250 Serenade begins in #Jupiter &Lightning symbols for husband!

#ResurrectionMary, a local legend in Justice, IL near where I grew up.

She'd get picked up hitchhiking, sit quietly, and vanish when you drove past her grave in Resurrection Cemetery.
Her story inspired this video's ending:

#Insta post #screen-shot (... and to relate the facts, here!—...➡️:Dec. 23, 2023 post of 2017 photo of peace lil[l]y being watered with hip flask):

ALT DESC.: Screen-shot of Instagram post, from December 23, 2023, by Vincent St. Clare (Frater C.I. / UNKNOWN_CROWN), consisting of a photo taken in 2017 of himself watering a peace lily with a water-filled hip flask—near-always filled with hard liquor, rather than water; and in said photo only his hand, the plant and flask in question, and surrounding furniture pictured—and below the photo a long description and details in text: Pouring one out for my houseplant. Watered too late and lost too soon... (For the botanists and horticulturists and other nerdy folks out there (like yours truly!): This is a photo of what was once my thriving Spathiphyllum—likely S. wallisii, specifically—or peace lil[l]y (as they're called), specimen. I deployed a hip flask filled with water in a last-ditch effort to save her, but sadly it was of no use, and my attempt at providing aid will only ever be remembered as a libation for a lost flower...) [2017 photo by moi. Slight digital editing/retouch.] ... Music (for Instagram-specific version of this post/content, as selected): Frédéric Chopin (1810–1849; [assumed] as via recording of unknown contemporary pianist's rendition) – «Marche funèbre» (original French title; Polish: „Marsz żałobny”; English (translated): "Funeral March"), the third movement of Chopin's Piano Sonata №. 2 (in B-flat minor, Opus 35) <clip>. Fascinating insights on mourning dress in the huge Victorian 'mourning warehouse' department stores as a forerunner in devt of ready-to-wear fashion, from @AmberButchart as part of #FuneralMarch at @BartsPathology this evening. I love a bit of mourning wear
