CJ's first convention was Furvana. He kept saying, "I'm not a furry, BUT." Then my friend pointed at his badge I drew for him and he said, "this here says otherwise" and then he just learned to accept it and had a fun time. He hugged his first expensive animal carpet that wasn't a sports mascot.
After going to my first furry convention woth @bytepaws.gay I had preconceived notions. I’m not a furry, but I mean this in the most respectful way possible. You guys embarrass yourselves everyday. That’s, in a weird way, why I can relate. I do the same. Just in different ways.

I may adjust or seek a different accommodation six months before the con.
The hotels in Ocean Shores are just not that great overall unless you want to spend over $600
