Today in class we discussed game genealogies, and why they are particularly common to see on PbtA, FitD, and DftQ games -- all of which contribute to an ethos of sharing that exhilarated some students and baffled others.

Will discuss at 6 PM EST, as usual.

This week in the TTRPG class, we’re starting another stretch of in-class play-and-discuss. This week: THE QUIET YEAR.

I’ll be live tonight (6 PM EST) to talk about setting up the game for a 75-minute class, as well as my experiences playing “the skulls game” with my 8 & 4 year old niblings.

Finally got around to watching one of @friede.bsky.social's videos this morning and, damn, I'm now going to have watch them all.

As an ex-teacher who writes TTRPGs, this is just wonderful to listen to. Thank you!
