President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. recently shared his childhood dreams of becoming either a musician or a scientist during an appearance on singer Gary Valenciano's podcast 'Unshaken with Gary V.' The President revealed that he studied music for several years abroad and had a strong interest in science and mathematics from a young age. He explained that his mother's love for music influenced his musical aspirations, leading him to study flute and saxophone and play in an orchestra and school band. Marcos also shared that he initially never considered following in his father's footsteps to become a politician, as he witnessed the sacrifices his family made while his father was president. 'I absolutely said, 'That is one walk of life that I am not going to go down,' because I saw how difficult it is from the sacrifices that my dad had to make,' he stated. The President emphasized that music remains a significant part of his life, saying, 'If you took music away from me, I don't know how I would manage. I just don't know how I would get through the day.' He also mentioned that his children are the other thing that can change his mood. Marcos' podcast appearance provided insight into his personal interests and background, highlighting his diverse passions beyond politics. The interview was part of a broader conversation about his life experiences and perspectives as the current president of the Philippines. The President's openness about his childhood dreams offers a more personal perspective on his character and motivations, showing that his interests extend beyond his political career.
