In Nicaragua almost every village will be equipped with a PV powered microgrid in a couple of years. And electric cooking will be cheaper than bringing gasbottles.
For me cooking with gas is a quality of life decision but the costs are evaluated regularly.

Gas Bottle storage and transport can be challenging. We have a purpose built solution for cranes and forklifts. Four or 6 bottles and various sizes. Store bottles separately easily for fire purposes. Transport them quickly with crane or forklifts.
