There's a crocodile called Mabel who lives in the Tweed just upstream of the Gattonside Chain Bridge. She's very friendly as long as you throw her sticks to play with. This is a true fact.

Yes, we have some snow on the Eildons and some on the Gattonside hills behind us. Not much but it looks nice.

Reminded today of a Scottish Rail Preservation Society steam trip on the Borders line with my folks 8 years ago; lovely lunch (smoked salmon, hake & crab risotto, cocoa & salted peanut ice cream) at Seasons Restaurant in Gattonside, afternoon tea in first class on return trip, beautiful weather.

It was a dark walk back from the hairdressers this afternoon. The sunset here was just after 3:30pm.

My dogwalk today was along the River Tweed again. I thought it was cold outside but realised pretty quickly that I definitely didn’t need to be wearing a long-sleeved top, a tanktop, a cardigan and a coat. 🥵

On the dog walk today I watched a bit of the rugby at the Greenyards. It has been a pretty dreich day here today.
