First ever iteration of my setup. All through a composite switcher. The video quality I endured at this moment led me to @mylifeingaming.bsky.social. Multiple RGB mods, a RT4K, a PVM, gcompsw, HDRV, multiple Everdrives (and several thousand dollars) later I am nearly at my final form!

I can't freaking believe it. I finally got the guts to RGB mod my N64... And I did it. And it works. And it's not broken. And I can incorporate it into my gcompsw.

This sounded cool until I realized it's not doing any transcoding, so I'd still have basically the same setup I already have: GScartsw -> RGB2COMP -> GCompsw -> CRT component input

Kids managed to snap the usb off my gcompsw. I can’t even blame them, it’s so portly located and prone to damage.
Replacing it with another connector that could snap off just as easily seemed like the wrong choice. Hopefully now if the cable gets yanked it will disconnect cleanly.
