People need to understand that the reason why #airsoft and #gelsoft blasters look realistic is purely because of hype and aura

Today I am going gel blasting.

If this were Australia where even gelsoft guns are illegal, this would still be a big fucking problem. But in the US? The most armed populace where people rarely shoot in simulated scenarios, there will be blood.

Everyone should be buying kevlar and plates after their weapon(s).

I mean...it's not THAT expensive in the grand scheme of cosplay but still.

The lions share is the props. Theres a bundle of Division props on Etsy for about £150, including the brick, the watch and a seeker grenade. I already got a fake pistol, and I found a "beginner" gelsoft M4 for about 80 quid

I also plan to recreate one of the exotic armor pieces, but we'll see how that goes. I was mostly worried about the gun. It needs to be easy to disassemble, and also still pass prop checks. Most airsoft weapons are not allowed, and springers are few and far between, so gelsoft is a good alternative

Okay, I'll post the Gel Blaster image, but I will put a graphic media label on it because I feel like a Gel Blaster that looks like a Carbine *might* be disturbing to some people? but yeah
CW/TW: Replica / Imitation Firearm
a picture of a "IHOBBY CQB T6 Full Metal CNC Custom MOSFET" Gel Blaster (SKU: WP2B B), an MSA Millennium CBRN Riot Control Mask that I got from ebay a while ago (the face mask part is slightly yellowed) and an Utsuho Reuiji fumo (to counteract the serious / bad vibes the blaster and the mask give off)

okay gelsoft is quite fun but I think if I decide to post a pic of my blaster I'm gonna have to put it behind a tag because it has the thing of being like airsoft... wait I think I'm overthinking it
