I guess others see me as a friend because I try to be nice to people regardless of how well I know them. As for me thinking someone else is a friend, I'm wary about doing so. That's for any number of good reasons. Anyhow, it's probably just me who thinks this way.

I don't know how many people I can actually consider friends online. Maybe at best a few, while the rest are acquaintances of varying levels. It can be weird when someone sees me as a friend, and I view them as an acquaintance.
