(ironically one of the major ways film chemistry actually changed between the 70s and today was directly caused by the EPA. Kodak was unable to continue producing several popular film stocks because chemical runoff from their production was poisoning the Genessee River)

We put a towel over the storm drain grate so they wouldn’t fall back down. I’m still worried about them because they’re in such a busy area, so much traffic, and I’m not sure if there’s a pond nearby. Genessee River is near but still long walk for ducklings (6/7)

At a protest in flint the genessee county sheriff engaged in real conversation & asked a bunch of good questions w George floyd/ BLM protesters then took off his riot gear and joined it.

Construction of LWB safety improvements (Phase 3) starts this week! This phase includes 6 new speed cushions, paint and flex post curb bulbs at Orcas St, a new sidewalk between Genessee St and LWB on 43rd, and 3 new swing gates to keep the road open for everyone during each weekend this summer!
