Right now there are people in Facebook guitar pedal groups seriously discussing what kind of 9v battery chemistry gives the best 'tone' in a fuzz pedal, and whether Duracell sound better than Panasonic for germanium transistors.
Makes you wonder why humanity ever bothered coming down from the trees

I lowkey thought Windows 11 26H2 was the Bromine branch and Germanium kernel merge. But that could be in 27H2.

Germanium bromide is pretty unstable as fuck. Good luck microslop.

Germanium was used in 24H2, 25H2

Bromine was used in 26H1, so this was merged in

Germanium was used again in 26H2, so Bromine + Germanium was merged in

And in 27H2, a newer Bromine will be used which will defo conflict with the previous Bromine codebase merge

Anyone here know where I can find some germanium, or germanium oxide?

the big muff? bro it was right there. "germanium might not be a flower but it is a muff petal"

well germanium is used in transistors that these days are commonly found in fuzz pedals like the Big Muff and i was going to try and make a TRANSistor pun but it kinda fell apart

Keep doing security patches and try and stay on 27H1 when that drops as that should be on Germanium until ... inner info about 28H1 comes about

27H2 will not be pretty when it arrives

Basically microslop has separate kernel branches for each major windows update (not the monthly ones, the twice yearly ones) and the old branches has to be merged with the new ones when a major update gets developed, most major updates are based on Germanium
