look I actually did like lockdown, for my own perverse reasons (incredible introvert who at the time had zero school-age children and very bad germophobic OCD) but I don't think anybody really has ever argued that lockdowns had NO downsides

A few of my friends have classic germophobic OCD where the theme "if you don't [sanitise yourself] [excessive number of times], [person you care about] will suffer [horrible consequence] and it will be your fault". And now we have COVID.
