And FFS, lets get rid of geryymandering

Exactly that, and the geryymandering is exhausting, this last gen election most of my neighbours had no idea we were losing our regular SNP MP to a boundary change. The contempt from Westminster is wild.

Geryymandering. 2 senators each vastly different population numbers for CA and ND. Or NY and NE.

It was the deciding vote in the WI supreme court. Had the GOP one, they'd bring in insane geryymandering

Abbott can only arrest the Texans, but other states absolutely have gerrymandering or no prohibitions to it. Visit FairDistrictsPA on Bluesky. #geryymandering

This the state where the AG stole the 2000 election for Bush, Jr. that Al Gore actually won by stopping the required hand recount? And the SCOTUS said that was OK so everyone acted like it was? And then disenfranchisement and geryymandering went unchecked for decades? Don't think this is on voters.

There are other organizations promoting the idea of moving to where your vote has power.

Move Indigo advises on US House Districts.

Given Geryymandering, a Swing District could be right down the street!

Why not choose a #SwingDistrict in a #SwingState Battleground?

yeah but if you succed to turn the ship, which we around here are all hoping as well, somehow end this geryymandering idiocy for good.

Thanks, Newsom, you camera hogging fuck. He had no opposition to fighting Texas geryymandering with a November bill, so he had to go and create it by putting a target on the most anodyne organization, League of Women Voters, because they just said, "This is unconstitutional".

This denies Justices ability to time their resignations (parallel to geryymandering allowing legislators to choose their voters).

I think O'Connor did this on her own volition - she didn't resign during Bush's first term because of her role in appointing him.
