after 8 years of living in the 'far away' city of Antwerp i will return to my Ghentian roots. ngl im gonna miss it but i think it's for the best to return closer to family.

On my final day in the office at UGent, I re-read a book chapter I co-authored with my Ghentian colleagues, Katrijn Maryns and Marie Jacobs. I'm really proud of this chapter and it reassures me that it's possible to have great collaborations across oceans too (wrote before my trip)

I've completely forgotten about Mark Peeters (the pseudonym of the moon-landing man) also being there! He seems to have disappeared, used to be present at a lot of lectures. We have been looking for that footage for years, in a Ghentian version of the search for the Infinite Jest video
