Tobias Forge has revealed his decision to take a hiatus from the band Ghost following the completion of their 'Skeletour' tour, which supported the release of their 2025 album 'Skeletá'. In an interview with Kerrang!, Forge explained that he felt overwhelmed by the responsibilities of maintaining the band's legacy and the expectations of fans. He emphasized his need for personal time to focus on family, creative projects, and mental well-being. Reflecting on the tour, Forge described it as a 'great finale' and expressed satisfaction with the band's achievements. He also mentioned plans for film projects and other artistic endeavors, indicating that the hiatus is not an end but a necessary pause. The singer acknowledged the importance of storytelling in Ghost's lore but hinted at its potential conclusion if fans rely on it for engagement. This decision marks a significant shift from his previous career trajectory, where he was driven by creative passion rather than contractual obligations.
