I didn't want to get ambushed in my next Tucker Carlson interview, so I read up on Wikipedia about the demographics of Iran. Only a bit more than half the population is ethnic Persian, and half of the rest are ethnic Azerbaijani, whose language has fairly high mutual intelligibility with Turkish.

What about self-identification? Have there been any studies done on Serbs and Croats with citizenship in BiH and whether they consider themselves "Bosnian" by national identity/citizenship? Or exclusively Serbian/Croatian? Bc afaik an Azeri or Gilaki in Iran will usually consider themselves Iranian
