there's no guarantee that aborting at chapter 5 will even let you keep the thornring but that feels like more of a distinct route, and i feel like if you abort at chapter 2 it might just turn into the gildedrose

GildedRose
The GildedRose is an unused ring-type weapon in Chapter 5 of Deltarune. It can only be equipped to Noelle and gives +16 AT and +2 Magic.

In Chapter 5 there is an unused Weapon for Noelle called the GildedRose, it gives +16 attack and +2 magic. It's Flavor Text also seems to reference the ThornRing as it mentions that the thorns cannot harm the wearer.

it's kinda the array-processing equivalent of the gilded rose

Emily Bache's Gilded Rose might be my favourite code kata.

A simple exercise, in many respects; but nonetheless a great way to appreciate the importance of incremental refactoring, and the value in designing highly cohesive systems with clear domain logic

therefore still making it necessary to give the ThornRing to Noelle instead without freezing Berdly to get it back in Chapter 6 without it turning into a GildedRose and without Kris hiding it.

or alternatively left it with Noelle without freezing Berdly if tricky Tony really pulls a "GildedRose" stunt, meaning makes it so the ThornRing turns into the GildedRose after Chapter 5 if it remained in the player inventory throughot Chapter 5

while also keeping one ThornRing in the player inventory with the hope of it indeed turning into a GildedRose in Chapter 6 so I could exchange Noelle's ThornRing with it there basically as a form of compensation.

with the intention to equip one of them to Noelle after the 2nd Berdly fight to (hopefully) still not trigger the Weird Route but still get one ThornRing out of the player inventory so it's hopefully not turned by the Flower King dark world into a GildedRose

I unfortunately just read about an item called GildedRose (deltarune.wiki/w/GildedRose) that might, according to a random comment I read somewhere else, in Chapter 6 replace a ThornRing that was not equipped to Noelle & instead remained in the player inventory also throughout Flower King dark world.

Remember kids, supports are important.

Haha. Besides some of the overhangs on the bottom, the rest of it came out fine.

New print is the Mera Mera No Mi fruit from #OnePiece.

Design by @standitupstore

I removed the prime tower, supports, and changed the infill pattern so it used less filament. I shaved an hour off the original time! But I definitely got dribbles from no support.

Estuvimos resolviendo de manera conjunta una kata de refactoring. Concretamente se trató de la kata "GildedRose" (Más información aquí: github.com/emilybache/G...) enfocada en el refactoring. Un evento muy muy práctico.

In this video, I started to refactor GildedRose with very little test coverage, using IDE Refactorings and Provable Refactorings until I got to the point where *some* code was *completely covered* by tests. Then I refactored that code.

What do you think about this approach?
