Streetartwall. A very cool mural with an abstract graphic motif was painted on the outside wall of a two-storey building. The background is black, which makes the colors glow. In the upper part there are large round areas of color in yellow, orange, green and pink that seem to hang down as if on a clothesline. Elongated gray shapes appear on the sides, tapering downwards like worms and consisting of drawn, curved lines. The whole thing is decorated with large blue drops surrounded by small purple circles, making it look like a tendril or vine pattern. A wonderfully colorful jumble that makes every observer recognize something different and ensures a good mood. (In the photo, the house is surrounded by autumnal trees, and in front of it is a rain-soaked street.) Info: The Berlin-based artist with Kurdish roots, Gita Kurdpoor, is known for her large-format, vibrant murals with bold colors and abstract shapes and patterns. She works with a brush on public walls or in small format on canvas, with digital art and with large light installations.

Streetart and light projection. A dazzling projection of a work of art is beamed onto the exterior wall of the Old Cathedral in Berlin. The photo shows a section of the colorfully irradiated cathedral in countless colors and patterns with oriental and pop art elements. One artwork of many more at the Festival of Lights Berlin 2023.
