If you went for the GiveEnergy 5kWh battery, I think that it's possible to add further batteries - worth to check with @givenergy.bsky.social

The battery is a GiveEnergy All-in-One 13.5kWh. We have a mere 2kW of solar, but because it’s south-facing (SSW) and thanks to our generous early tariff they pay us ~£1,000 a year.
We get ~30% of the total between September and March.

Battery technology improving all the time. Check Octopus energy to ensure full compatibility with them. I think they like the Giveenergy brand allowing you to store cheap overnight electricity and export during the day if your solar is covering your needs.
