When we visited Edinburgh, Scotland in December, I wondered how they kept those old, dense buildings from burning. Now I'm seeing reports out of Glasgow, and it looks horrifying.
Hope this can be brought under control.

y'know, if @johnswinney.bsky.social and the @snp.org want an easy win before the Holyrood elections they could push through a bill massively increasing the fire insurance requirements, mandatory fire training etc on all vape shops in Scotland. It's pretty much an open goal for them.

I lived in Glasgow for a little while years back not far from that fire. Other than the person I was dating and her friends, some of the nicest people in the world you’d ever hope to meet. Hopefully, everyone stays safe.
