Created SPER - a way of rating team's Set Piece Goals + xG as part of total numbers. Glicko2 ratings are fun. Article later this week.

They then bake this advantage into the Glicko (they use Glicko2 rather than Elo) rating calculation to offset it when calcuating the expected score between two players.
I've never seen this before in a chess rating system, does anyone know if it is used in, e.g., chess.com?

Puzzles can be rated just like humans. Lichess uses Glicko2, but probably more people know about ELO.
Players and puzzles are assigned an initial rating and the ratings are adjusted depending on if the players solve the correctly.
This puzzle has a rating of 2240 (quite high, the mean is ~1500).

It would be great to have a studio's perspective on the merits of different matchmaking systems. I don't understand why every game doesn't implement glicko2 or something like it at least at the high end like SF6 did. It would be great to hear your insights on this in a future Tekken Talk perhaps 🙏
