ok. gligar obtained and EV trained. just gotta level it to 50 and evolve it and maybe try to figure out if i can get some PP maxes. got mint his training ribbon, so now only vanilla needs to do super training. i'm waiting on contest spectaculars until after we get the super doubles ribbons

Platinum is the only gen 4 game where you can just grt a razor fang on the map, diamond/platinum also locks it behind the battle frontier too (on top of gligar being a dual slot mon lol!!!!!)

I genuinely dont get the point of making excuses for Gamefreak and their lazy ass integration of certain mons in older games, Gligar in D/P requires dual slotting Emerald but in Platinum you can just catch it normally so clearly it wasnt that serious

Johto getting a ton of cool ass new evolutions to play with for its remake and then deciding all of them that aren't via level up move are at the end of the game is hilarious. Did you know the only way to evolve gligar is the fucking battle frontier.

I have an alternative ending where Paul catches Gliscor but Ash sets Gliscor free from Paul's clutches making Paul hate Ash even more. Ash would still catch Gligar here.
