What looks like the #sun here is actually a #fullmoon rising! This phenomenon, sometimes called a moon river, #moonglade, #glitterpath, or #moonwake, the path of the moon on the water, is a sight to behold over dark bodies of water such as the #sea.

… and later, before dawn, the full moon as it starts to set over the sea. The proper name for a reflected path of moonlight over the sea is a ‘moonglade’ - for the sun it is a ‘glitterpath’. Both always point to you. Would be fab if these words were as commonplace as ‘rainbow’ - they are as magical!
