Resulta que goídelc /ˈɡoːi̯.ðʲəlɡ/ (genitivo goídilce > moderno Gaeilge) no es un derivado nativo del préstamo britónico original, sino que se tomó prestado por separado, porque esa -c representa el britónico -eg (cf. Cymraeg, "galés" en galés), no la forma irlandesa de ese mismo sufijo, -ech/-ach

I know about three things about historical Dublin Irish and those are:

- It is on the Caidé mar a tá tú side of the isogloss, not a the Conas or Cén chaoi
- It is on the Gaelg/Gaidhlig/Goidelc side of the isogloss, not Gaeilge or Gaelainn
- Cnoc Slinne is (approximately) pronounced Crooksling
