I'd have to say cozy medieval towns! In no particular order:
1. Balmora - Morrowind / Elder Scrolls Online
2. Lumbridge - RuneScape
3. Gorhart - Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning
4. Harbour Town - Risen

Have been playing a bit of Kingdoms of Amalur for a bit now (after seeing @spiffingbrit.bsky.social do his "Scrolls-like" roundup) and I have one big take away: whatever they paid @matthewmercer.bsky.social for the voice acting work back in 2012, it wasn't enough.

Just went from goosebumps @ seeing Gorhart for the 1st time in a while to giggling in fear as I was mobbed by a bear & wolves #combat4thewin
