I have calendula, multiple marigold types, purple & white echinacea, and a variety of purple, black, & orange pansy/viola types. I hope to make some Halloween bread art with those.

Update to my #GothGarden. I finally got the rest of the fencing in and transplanted my plum-dazzled stonecrop. Also suffered another deer attack, so I put in more skewers to stab them. I really need a new phone with a better camera. youtube.com/shorts/Eggeb...

My stonecrop is coming back nicely! And I got another bare root start chilling with my goth grass.
(The black skewers are around the ones outside so that the deer who are tempted to nibble the new growth get stabbed in the face if they try.) #GothGarden

Red-tailed hawks often visit my garden, perching on telephone poles. Last year, a juvenile got stranded on one, calling out in distress as a parent guided him. He eventually figured it out!

I went to the Seattle Japanese Garden today and realized they installed this beautiful section of black mondo grass. It is a popular plant and I found it all over nwfgs Look how beautiful it is in a big garden.
