More Goth related gubbins. This time a longer piece based on a true story.

Vertical comic strip as was the fashion. A long, black haired person sits in front of a computer. 'There, after months of hard work my sociology thesis is complete. A four thousand word treatise on modern gothism.' A printer whrrs and spits out pages 'In which I identify 17 unique sub-groups of goth.' They stand before a projector screen, as if delivering this to an audience, pointing to a highlighted box labelled Cyber, the first of several, the others blurred. The character, dressed for the occasion, wears what appears to be a velvet coat and shirt with ruffles. Dark eye makeup. 'Concluding that, as I fail to fall into any of these 17 groups..' Hand now pointing to a new box, with just the word 'ME'. 'I am an individual.' End A colleague, and goth, told a group of us that his sociology thesis was on the many sub-genres of goth and I made the joke that this was so he could prove that he was an individual. I was very amused. Quite like the artwork here, still shit but better. There's a few funny incidental bits here. The coffin shaped mouse and the title of the thesis 'Gothbusters'. That's my old printer, remember when we had those? I may have added the printer cartridges to imply there was a lot of printing with black because I only have one joke. I'm pleased with how the projection looks, the way it hides the punchline, being projected onto the person. I might have actually put It on a separate layer and overlaid it. Clever. It also helped hide some of the groups because I was struggling to come up with them. Cyber, Romantic, Industrial, Rubber (?), something illegible, Vamp...Blade (?). This was a 'pee' (repost) for the Goth challenge, it originally didn't achieve much, and probably only made the front page due to lack of content.
