If Bass wins, LA should be deincorporated as it has proven beyond any doubt that it's incapable of self governance.
LA’s mayoral candidates differ on how to tackle housing.

Bass opposed SB 79, the state law for more homes near transit. Raman backs homes near transit

Bass ended her affordable-housing fast-track program in single-family zones. Raman wanted those projects to proceed.

The modern GOP has traded governance for political extremism. Our priority shouldn't just be winning elections; it should be building firewall policies that ensure no party can misuse state power against the public again.

Yeah, the impact there is clearer. Perhaps pushing people from "I dislike this guy, but want conservative governance" to "fuck it, we need a congress that will tell him no."

This is Ken Paxton's mugshot.

He was indicted on 3 felony counts for fraud.

He enriched himself by $27 million in public office.

He was reported to the FBI by his own staff for bribery.

He was impeached by his own party for corruption.

Tomorrow, we will stop him.

I know all the discourse is about Congress but it's possible that after tomorrow's elections, Dems could hold 23 trifectas -- up from 16 today and 6 back in 2017. 53% of the total population could live under Democratic governance -- the largest share since 1978.
