Healthcare should not be based on job or wealth. Every other modernized country has figured out this out. Why not us? Because the insurance lobby has bought govmt and convinced Americans "socialized" medicine is bad. Imagine your house on fire and having to be "approved" for the fire department.

Yes & I'll add: A lot of people (incl many, many women) know someone who has NEARLY DIED while pregnant/giving birth. Or who *has* died/faced serious conseq. All this shit about lack of autonomy over our bodies & threats to health/survival -- it's *not* theoretical to huge chunks of the population.
I also find it interesting that older women are breaking so hard left, too. Many of them are older than Roe (or were coming of age around then) so they actually saw/lived the implications too many women are facing now... and understand how horrific it was.
