The rain finally stopped, so we were able to get in 9 holes of #gowf today. After several weeks of on and off rain, our mushroom friends were out in force.
On the 15th hole, Slippery Jack has my wife surrounded.

Like these? Found them on Arrowhead gowf course today between the 12th green and 13th tee. We left the large one alone.
The small one had a bugs in a tunnel they ate through it so I guess they're good eatin' for bugs too.

While play gowf today, we came across some #gowfShrooms - some sort of bolete? and a tired, old puffball. #fungi, #mushrooms

Today we saw our first #gowfshrooms of the year poking their noses out of the grass next to the First Tee.
They are growing were a tree stump was ground down a few years ago. I think they are mica caps (Coprinellus micaceus).
