So I think the GPOB requires:
Mineral purity testing of raw metal outputs by GPOB staff... at the end of the mining runs I think because otherwise that might lead to oversight of labor conditions on Persean mining vessels. (Does this also impact the final ship crew pay? Fucking probably) (7/12)

The GPOB's jurisdiction is very specific, but powerful within that. A black mark from a GPOB inspection/test can doom an facility or enterprise. Even the most desperate are loath to fuck around with non-certified panels. Gates and ports check for that, and violations carry serious penalties. (12/12)

Also I think many GPOB-certified manufacturers have mutual service agreements; they may invoice each other for work/replacements of each others' panels, since not every manufacturer can feasibly maintain presence in all systems their products may end up in. (11/11)

Grav panel defects fall under GPOB jurisdiction.
As mentioned back on QC Day 13, the Gravity Panel Oversight Board has multi-lateral authority over the production of grav panels, and their standards include protocols for panel problems, fault handling, and defect resolution. (4/11)

and connectivity. Inspectors wear smart lenses, audio pickups and panoramic recording rigs that capture everything they see and hear, which stream back to either GPOB systems directly (in 'net connected locations) or to their ship when in more remote locales like the Arm.

Good question! Military conflict is actually quite rare in this era, and large space armadas just... Aren't a thing. Production of spacecraft have been focused in other ways, and most systems control firearms and other weaponry very closely. I think GPOB security is very much based on surveillance
