Developer near us was allowed to tear down three brownstones with nearly 30 apartments in 'em to put up one luxury building with 16. #greedylandlords
But people always bring up more housing it's the default answer but unless we shift the policy landscape within which that housing is built it's not enough. Shit NYC has a whole thing right now where they're knocking down buildings and building new buildings that are bigger with fewer units.

Western Sydney is more affordable than Bondi where there are more rentals and less homeowners. Government needs to have a scheme to encourage landlords to put solar in but hey, they might need to fix the roof first #greedylandlords

Lemon Grove Pastry Shop in Lemon Grove, California, opened in 1947 & was very popular. They made THE MOST DELICIOUS White Chocolate Raspberry layer cake. In 2015, the landlord raised their rent 30% (over $1000) and forced them to close down. The building still sits empty. #GreedyLandlords suck!
