Adding to ☝️, it's also why some email clients block images unless you specifically tell them a sender is safe, etc. Blocking images blocks the tracking pixel. If you have a greymail email, it's probably got a tracking pixel in it

Make sure that the cases go through discovery, so that all the information you have privately is publicly available in a court of law. No NDAs. No greymail. The American public needs to know what a shitshow it actually was do that they can judge your enforcement as just and fair.

CIPA protects the government against greymail (“To defend myself from this espionage charge I’ll have to introduce this classified info!) and protects the defense from the Government trying to hide relevant information.
