Today is #PurpleDay, Bluesky!
This is an awareness day for epilepsy, which is a condition my boy Groot was diagnosed with at about 4.5 years old. He is now going on 11! Glad for us his epilepsy has been managed well with medication and herbal supplements.

Groot had a blast at his Valentine's Day Party. Once we got home, he posed for a photo with his Mari Lwyd mini from Merimask.

Groot is all ready for his upcoming corgi Valentine's Day Party. Last weekend's project was building his mailbox, inspired by the Welsh Dragon. This week's project was getting him cleaned up and taking a photo to remember some goodness.

A brindle and white Cardigan Welsh Corgi is dressed in a red bandana and has a headband with two glittery hearts on it above his head. He is sitting on a pale pink blanket next to a Valentine's Day mailbox. The mailbox is decorated to look like a red dragon. It has white feet and wings, and the curly tail holds a pink heart.

A brave little corg out exploring a very frozen pond.

When we come to this place, he usually gets to go for swimmies a few times in the abandoned cranberry bogs - but not on this first trip of the year!

A brindle and white Cardigan Welsh Corgi trots across ice on a pond that is dusted with snow. There's a bunch of pawprints in the snow showing where he's been. He is wearing a purple harness that has green straps.

We had a little snow. My own personal demons in combination with the wind kept us from getting out to really enjoy it, but I did get one photo of my bestest bud in his yard.
