I'm so freaking tired of AI invading and ruining my online hobby related groups.
I barely ever talk about video games and every gaming podcast is basically only doom and gloom now (understandable but tiresome).
Now it's hit the synth/groovebox and handheld emulator groups 😭

The sheer number of FM-1 firmwares that has exploded in a matter of weeks is bewildering. I’ve little use for the groovebox ones so I’m currently running Clipper that focuses on the FM-1 as a poly synth, retaining the original FM engine while adding another 22 (!) modelled synth personas.

Seeing there was a new granular sampler homebrew on 3ds has me intrigued in messing with it for music again instead of just pining after another groovebox I don't need anyways
And i gotta say playing an acoustic into the mic and using the default sound app's transceiver effect is NASTY, i love it

Not only are the sound good (no wonder - Plaits is open source, though impressive implementation on lowly hardware), but the mod 4 everywhere ergonomics look nicely practical too.
