Really tried to embrace the whole permaculture mindset with the rampaging #GroundElder in my #garden , but I don't like its flavour and now it started killing other plants. So I spent two nights moving around plants, upending my garden beds, and carefully digging out bucket after bucket of roots.

Fwiw I made a #groundelder #Sichuanpepper shoot quiche today & it was phenomenal. (had2 feed more ppl than expected so I bulked it out with a tiny bit of fried bacon, toasted nuts). 12/10 will make again (in fact the tallest person has volunteered to pick a more shoots higher up #forage

Lastly, we have some leftovers from previous years. I have tried some research on the #GroundElder (left), but I can’t seem to figure invasiveness for my area. For the #SpanishBluebell (right), I’ll probably just replant in a better spot 🌸
