oh sure, it's the same panels for groundmount or anything, but one needs really big footings and a ton of structural steel, and the other one doesn't.

i totally get that, i hate pulling mobs by accident, but that's just one of the many reasons i love maining a druid. it's become habitual for me to stealth wherever i go even tho im balance. have been doing groundmount only for launch and loving it. people should always be allowed to fly from get go

This is naive thinking. Seriously. If we want to act on climate change then groundmount lets us scale up fast and cheaply. Covering car parks etc is a nice idea and part of the solution- but it is a slow and expensive process. Trust me. I know.

I'm guessing the installation is also done on the cheap, just a groundmount without worrying too much about permits and similar. And I assume they come with inverters.

as i've been doing groundmount only, i can say at least in eversong forests case there arent enough flightpoints, with 2 for the whole zone. fine if you use your flying mount but a pita otherwise.
