yes that too. but more fundamentally, how can you verify that your LLM simulation has any bearing on reality, on the groundtruth? what if your simulation is some unreplicable bs that has no bearings on actual human behaviour
I have been thinking about what this means in terms of participant consent...if you just simulate users, you are circumventing the need to aquire informed consent? And this does not even get to the claims of diversity when we know what we know about the training data 🤦♀️
