Thanks. I think the extent of academic freedom can be identical though? Some MPG-groupleaders are part of a bigger research group under a MPG director's group. Maybe the difference being they are actually (formally) in charge of people.

Nobody will help them to overcome their resentiments and hate they built up from their childhood on where they were shamed & bullied and violated by their attachment persons .
Still they are only objects to evfn more awfully narcissistic groupleaders .
It's still called high educated civilasation???

Narcissism is subjectve based on tribalism. Groupleaders label narcissists as people who overdo their homework for the meeting, thus "act superior" to group norms of the "in crowd" who know one thing: "This is how we've always done it: we follow our (experienced) gut." These labels aren't effective.
