I was shown this song by a mutual as a potential Bodtchei song and it’s so perfect that I was immediately inspired to draw a piece based on it

(repost because there were mistakes that were driving me insane)

yes yes most of the time heidi hates bodtcher’s guts and wants to tear him to shreds but I think it would be very cute if the big scary zombie lady got a lil jealous and possessive every now and then

that’s MY weird ugly little husband!!!!!!

Controlling Heidi’s body is a lot like fighting over the steering wheel… each girl has their own driving style, all equally as inconvenient.

I started this a few weeks ago but got sidetracked by a few other projects— anyways, here’s a quick introductory guide to Bodtcher’s gross experiments

#oc #originalcharacter #originalart #digitalart #dreadart #guildedgrace
UNDEATH — While working as a junior surgeon under his father’s wing and overseeing terminal patients, Bodtcher hypothesized that the energy exerted in one’s dying moments could be harvested and re-engineered into pure life energy— thus, UnDeath was born! UnDeath is the essence of life, extracted from the dead and energized into a catalytic state with a strong burst of electricity. It is capable of reversing the effects of sickness, injury, aging, and in larger doses, even death itself. However, it requires a lot of human sacrifice to have any lasting effect. Noting that younger, healthier bodies produced stronger UnDeath than sick and dying ones, he turned to harvesting his miracle substance in more… unethical ways. MECHADAVERS — The fusion of corpse and machine. Unlike a cyborg, a mechadaver has no consciousness or free will, simply doing what it is programmed for. They are easier and cheaper to build than a regular robot, at least according to Bodtcher. (Machine parts = Expensive. Taking a life = Priceless!) M.O.M (Mass Organic Metabolizer) Bodtcher’s mother constantly coddled him and defended her son’s disgusting behavior; being her only surviving child after a number of stillbirths & miscarriages, she wanted nothing to come between her and her sweet Jonas. She was crushed when her husband threw their son out, aching for his return. When he eventually came back, she saw him as the monster he truly was all along… The M.O.M is the containment unit for UnDeath before it is electrified and ready to use. Bodtcher drains fluids from his victims using his tail, and feeds it into the M.O.M’s receiver, where it churns and houses the substance in its tankers. When Bodtcher started building bodies, he found that submerging them within M.O.M’s womb and letting them float inside the UnDeath kept them from decaying, and healed any surgical wounds they’d receive from his meddling. The M.O.M serves as an incubator for both the UnDeath fluid and Bodtcher’s experiments before they are activated by the D.A.D. Notes: - Bodtcher respects his mother somewhat, so her corpse is decorative rather than part of the machine itself. - The M.O.M opens up like an iron maiden - An umbilical cord-like tube emerges from within the M.O.M and feeds UnDeath to the receiving party through their navel. - Bodtcher will take a dip in the M.O.M’s womb to heal any wounds he acquires while looking for victims. D.A.D (Daedalian Assault Dynamo) Bodtcher’s father stood against him every step of the way. Upon hearing what his son had been doing with his patients, he disowned Bodtcher and threw him out. Bodtcher took this opportunity to build his lab in the Pinelands and recruit a few unwilling test subjects to advance his research on UnDeath & mechadavers. He designed blueprints for a series of mechadavers that would help speed up the production of UnDeath, and he knew exactly which bodies he wanted to build them with… The D.A.D is part generator, part conductor, all horrifying— Utilizing the corpse of Bodtcher’s father as a conduit to galvanize inactive UnDeath that’s held within the M.O.M, transforming it into its potent, energized state. When Bodtcher graduated to reanimating the dead, the D.A.D was upgraded to its current centipede shape, trapping bodies within its cage-like legs and delivering powerful shocks to introduce the spark of life. IT’S ALIVE!!!! Notes: - Sharp prongs on the D.A.D’s tongue and pelvis send electric shocks straight to the victim’s nervous system. - Bodtcher has a macabre sense of humor— Why not turn your strict Christian father into a human crucifix?

As if his design isn’t horny enough already, I’ve been thinking about giving Bodtcher extending, glowing energy claws and heels.

These aren’t bionic enhancements like his tail, rather weapons built directly into his suit.

An image of Cyrus, a stocky biracial man with curly red hair, a bushy goatee, and a unibrow on a pouty face. He wears a backwards blue cap, a white & red sports jersey, baggy blue jeans, red sneakers, and various gold jewelry in a mimicry of 1990s-2000s rap & nu metal aesthetics. An image of Laszlo, a lanky biracial man with a curly dark burgundy afro tied up with a bandanna, similar to Jimi Hendrix. He has a slick mustache and tiny soul patch, and is wearing a bohemian-styled open floral-print shirt, rolled-up jeans, a striped belt, open-toed sandals, and various wooden/beaded jewelry, sporting a hippie vibe.

Cupid was my most-attacked character this year!

When reached for comment, he said “no duh”, then told everyone to “suck it”. When reached for a nicer comment, he rolled his eyes and said thank you to his lovely fans.
