Replaced the stock tuners on my 8 string with some Guyker locking tuners and re-strung it with a set of .090 to .009 strings from The String Source.
Install was easy, but I had to drill out one of the string posts to take the .090 gauge string!

Finally, the neck is (*mostly) complete! Rounded off the fret ends, added a set of Guyker locking tuners and some Graphtech string trees.
Now, I should get on with finishing the body! 😅 (The varnish disaster is recovered! 😅)
*Probably just needs a final fret polish. I'll leave that until later.

Import guitar that I stripped of parts. Added vintage slot tuners, new pots, switch, knobs, Gibson p90 neck and Dimarzio humbucker in the bridge, weird Guyker vibrato, Aumsen bridge. Leveled, crowned, and polished the frets. It was very heavy. Routed space under pickgaurd. Still heavy.

Figured I would show off officially My Kramer Baretta Special Custom (Jude). In Alpine White with Gold Hardware from Kaish and Guyker. I am going to be switching the pickup in the bridge with a frankenstrat pickup soon

Here is completed, I did the pickguard, the convertion to string thru, and all the setup to make it playable. Bone nut, Guyker tuners & bridge, Fleor pickups and electronics.

I liked the locking tuners on the Snakebyte so much I got some Guyker ones for my Schecter. Mistakes were made and I had to get out the Dremel but I learned a lot. First time changing tuners. Also, finally fixed the bridge. Put on some D’Addario Extra Heavy Gauge 12-60 and tuned down to C

Spent last night modifying my Squier Bass, added a Wilkinson bridge with brass saddles and some Guyker tuners. The bridge was easy-peasy but the tuners (while they fit) had a larger base plate. So queue an hour and a half of brute forcing tiny screws into a maple headstock! (-1/10 do not recommend)
It's worth trying. Guyker seems to make quality parts for the price point, based on their locking tuners I have installed on my 8 string.

Been wanting a double cut and picked this up for a song used. 1st Ibanez I’ve had in 20 years. Added the trem and roller bridge. Plays/sounds great, has become my couch guitar. Really like this Guyker trem, not quite a Bigsby but still smooth. Keep the stripe? #guitars #guitaristsofbluesky #ibanez
