I think there's a good argument for The Bricklayers.

Maybe less so for The Haberdashers, though.
Occasional reminder that "Brewers" is an A+ team name and there should be more teams named after professions.

Last week I bought the #Haberdashers series by @cmdrsue.bsky.social and so far I am loving it. The MCs are all wonderfully flawed, their motivations are interesting, and the writing is *chef's kiss*.

If you love histrom, give them a try!

If Andy Burnham wants a sure-fire, apolitical vote winner, require haberdashers to put S, D, or K on all bedsheet labels

Do I need to know washing instructions - no, everything goes in at 40

Do I need to know if it fits my bed or spare bed? You betcha

Spent some time this weekend to work up a new series, of posters, of women inventor patents.

Inspired by a client, converting some shirt designs into a new format that look pretty cool on a wall.

In September our CEO Jeanette Cochrane cheered on a five-school badminton tournament at St George's Ascot and met a cadet leader at Haberdashers' Girls' School. She traced the history of women's education at Walthamstow Hall and saw the Positivitree at St Mary's Gerrards Cross.

This painting dates from when WW2 hostilites ended in Europe. It's on display at Beauty and Destruction: Wartime London, a free exhibition telling the story of London during the war as seen by artists, and is at the Imperial War Museum until November 1st.

In London, the Haberdashers' Company set out arrangements for spending the income from £200 donated by Mildred, Lady Burghley. They're spending it on food and charity for the poor and (of course) sermons for the people of Cheshunt, near the Burghley mansion of Hatfield.

It's always "high concept" and "ironic" when it's posh boys from Haberdashers. Jim Davidson doesn't get the benefit of the doubt.
