Thanks John - was horribly unexpected (Haemangiosarcoma). We had hoped that the splenectomy 2 weeks ago would sort it but it had metastasised to her lungs and there was nothing the vets could do. Even the vets were upset 😭

My boy JR has been diagnosed with Haemangiosarcoma.

How many people are losing their pets to Haemangiosarcoma?

My vet told me recently that haemangiosarcoma is more common then it used to be.

My lovely girl was killed by haemangiosarcoma and my friend's dog was put to sleep weeks after her from the same cancer. Our local council is gungho with pesticides. We have no way to prove liability.

犬の↓の論文で3/17で下痢（Grade1が2頭、Grade2が1頭）は報告されていますね（この論文でも好中球減少や血小板減少は0頭だったようです）。
猫のCOPのレスキューとかで、ドキシルとCBDCA併用とか出来ないかなと思ったりしています。人だと卵巣がんで用いられるプロトコールですが。

猫の腹壁肉腫（血管肉腫HSA or リンパ管肉腫LAS）

・n=9
・HSA, n=4; LAS, n=3
・診断時の転移（肺）は1頭のみ
・5頭で外科切除し4頭は不完全切除。4/5で癒合不全や腹壁ヘルニアなどの術後合併症。
・化学療法は外科切除した5頭中4頭、切除をしなかった4頭中2頭で実施
・切除後3/5で局所再発
・MST：HSA 166日; LAS 197日
・HSAの2頭は329日と580日後まで再発せずに生存

私は猫の腹壁肉腫は1例しか経験ありませんが、これの外科切除はやはり茨の道ですね。
