The very intriguing Halls of Hegra. A solitaire, tower style defence, worker placement game rich in decisions and theme. Real shades of the Valiant Defence series from @djackthompson.bsky.social which is a very flattering comparison IMO! #hallsofhegra #boardgames #history #imhavingmyonepodcast

Completed (lost) at my first game of Halls of Hegra at the end of turn 8. This was a tough game but I like it! The pressure on your actions builds exponentially and you soon find yourself in serious trouble. #hallsofhegra #ww2 #history #boardgames #solitairegames #imhavingmyone #imhavingmyonepodcast

Halls of Hegra. Lately I have been on this solo only board game kick. This one often gets compared to Robinson Crusoe but I think it plays quite a bit differently. It's a lot more forgiving in the beginning and you are actually trying to prepare for the end. #hallsofhegra #boardgame #tabletopgame

I LOVE #hallsofhegra so much. It’s soooo hard to win, but that’s not suprising. Based on a real siege at the start of word War II. Not usually my sort of theme but this one is, in my opinion Remarkable.
