#hammertoe
I used to wear heels like that in my 20’s…..then I learned how bad they are for your spine, and stopped.
I have inherited DDD and don’t need to add to it.
Wearing heels like that also causes hammertoe

Stop. Hammertoe. Apparently I need foot surgery. But I can't have it until my mother is done with her knee replacement in November because I'm taking care of her then. Not enough time to get it done and be fully recovered before then. What were the odds we'd both need joint surgery at the same time?

Holy cow. These people are deplorable. Clinton was correct.

BTW, I'm saying this as someone who had bunion (on both sides of my foot) and hammertoe surgery a few years ago and who now has Charcot foot on the other foot and will be wearing a Frankenstein boot the rest of my life.

What Are Toe Separators? And Will They Help?
Nobody in our family ever used them, and I have secondary Raynaud´s & crippled or no toenails anyway, but no hammertoe or so. Also is half of my 3rd toe on the right missing yet.

What Are Toe Separators? And Will They Help?
If you have bunions, blisters or other toe woes, toe spacers may help. But they’re not a cure-all. A podiatrist offers advice.

god I hate shopping for shoes so much... i get so irritated at the selection of fancy footwear for women. 99.9% of the shoes are like a bunion/hammertoe factory TTTT
and when you do develop bunions, too bad! nothing for you to wear except flip flops

They mention EC3 and CYN as companies or something, and I immediately lost interest aside from learning Hammertoe is a dipshit.

Facts About Hammertoe
Hammertoe is a deformity in which one of the smaller toes bends at the middle joint, creating a shape that resembles a hammer. It occurs more often in women, and it is frequently related to footwear choices that place pressure on the toes. This condition is commonly seen when the second toe is longer than the big toe, which can increase crowding in shoes. Pain may develop on the top of the bent toe from rubbing against footwear, or at the ball of the foot from added pressure. Risk factors include wearing tight shoes, foot structure, and muscle imbalance. A podiatrist can evaluate the toe, recommend supportive footwear, and provide treatment to reduce discomfort. If you have developed a hammertoe, it is suggested that you are under the care of a podiatrist who can help you to manage this condition. Hammertoes can be a painful condition to live with. For more information, contact Charles Oehrlein, DPM of Hoover Foot Care. Our practitioner will answer any of your foot- and ankle-related questions.
